Nice produce, but can't see the "effect" October 05, 2012
"I purchased this item for myself. It looks exactly like the picture. I don't wear a lot of silver jewelry, so I'm not sure what it will look like in a few months (whether it will get tarnished or not). The chain is really thin, so there is so concern that it may break. The only reason I didn't give it more stars is because the "spinning" effect doesn't really work. I'm not sure if I'm not doing it right, but I've tried to spin it every which way, and I just don't see the effect that it's supposed to show. Hope this helps! :-)"

"I've made previous purchases with Red Envelope infrequently over the years and have noticed an unfortunate trend. The quality of the jewelry has declined over the years. This necklace, although pleasing to my wife, is flimsy and is of poorer quality than items I've purchased in the past. Previous purchases were sterling silver instead of silver plated, in searching the site it seems a lot of the jewelry is plated. In addition the gift card that was sent along with the present had a large smudge of ink or grease (a black substance) on it. This would have been catastrophic if I hadn't purchased a card to go along with the present. I am giving this two stars instead of one due to the fact that overall my wife was happy with the gift."

"I got this from my husband for mother's day and I love it. The pendant looks just like the picture. Very nice. The only thing to notice is that the chain is a double chain that you cannot really see in the picture. It's also short. The chain is decent but I wanted it longer so I put mine on a different chain and love it."

"This gift was perfect for my mom on Mother's Day. I changed the meaning from lovers to the "loves of her life" I am now an only daughter since my brother passed away 6 years ago at the tender age of 33yrs. Anyway, I had the spinner engraved with his and my initials and sent a little message accordingly and she called me with tears in her eyes as she talked of "loving her perfect gift." thanks again redEnvelope...you never disappoint!"
