"Recently we purchased a house and decided to get a few things for our realtor. One of the items that we thought he could use, was the pop-up leather card case. I was so excited to finally purchase something from red envelope as there are many items I have in mind for our new house. I will say, the gift wrapping was beautiful. We decided to open up the package to see what it truly looked like before giving it as a gift.
1st: it was gift wrapped, but left in the cheap plastic envelope. I thought that was a bit strange to have a beautiful box with a satin bow and all to then leave it in the clear plastic pouch.
2nd: The stitching was slightly off- it did not meet up with the top part that opens and the made in china sticker was still intact (why gift wrap if that's the case?!?!?!?).
3rd: The personalization almost looked like a foil stamp that will probably very quickly rub off :(
Honestly, over all, it wasn't as horrible as my comments sound. Most of my issues were with the wrapping.For the price (it was on sale) it was ok, just not what I expected at all. It is still being given as a gift, I just know that the restaurant and gas gift card will outshine the card case for sure.
Maybe my next purchase will be a better experience."
