"I am not pleased with this product, which is very unusual because I have always been pleased with Red Envelope products in the past. I selected the three birthstones for my children. In the on line photo when I ordered the products, the colors were vibrant. Each color was very distinct as they should since the children were born in different months. When I received the product, the stones were very small and the colors were not vibrant. The stones look like clear glass until you look very closely and you can see a hint of blue or green. One stone was a simulated diamond, but the others were colored in the photo. Also, the tilt of the heart pendant makes all three stones bunch up and that does not look good. The clasp on the chain is very flimsy. I am not satisfied."

"I bought this for my sister in law and had her baby's birthstone and her mom's birthstone put on it since her mom passed away and her little girl is named after her. The necklace is beautiful and I love that the heart is a bit more contemporary which makes it more of an adult piece. My one complaint is the July stone is not really red but more of a medium pink color. If you really want a red stone I guess you should order the ruby but it makes the necklace much more expensive. Other than that it is beautiful and very nice quality."

"As another reviewer stated, the chain is delicate, but it's ok. The heart is thinner than shown, and the shape is less symmetric so not quite as nice as I'd expected. I think the stones are of a good size, but the moonstone for June is an iridescent and sort of milky looking mostly clear stone. The aquamarine is very pretty. I looked around a lot and this was my favorite piece of birthstone jewelry. I like that the heart is also a mobius."

Somewhat disappointed February 20, 2009
"The sterling silver heart and stones were fine, however, the chain was a thin flimsy thing that detracted from the presentation. I ended up replacing it with a more appropriate and substantial chain. In order to remove the old chain, I had to disassemble it so it would slide through the loop on the heart. It is unfortunate that a relatively nice piece was ruined by the addition of a cheap chain."

Heart Necklace Was OK February 16, 2009
"I purchased this necklace for myself to wear for Valentines Day. I added two birthstones, an amethyst and a zircon and liked the placement on the pendant and the color selection. The heart itself was a good size. However, the finish on the heart was a little dull and it tarnished easily when worn against bare skin. Overall, I thought the necklace was nice but it wasn't that spectacular (rated it as average). It would probably look better (more easily seen) worn over a dark sweater."
