Inexpensive lilies and good quality February 21, 2011
"I just bought these lilies for my girlfriend for Valentines Day (2011) and she got it shipped right on time. They came Fedex ground fresh cut from Cali. It came with two little bags of flower food too! They were in bud form (as advertised). After three days, 3 of the 4 stems started to fully bloom, however one of the stems died and withered within 5 days. After a full week, one of the stems isn't showing signs of blooming at all! Hopefully, this is only a one time issue. The white ones are especially pretty when fully bloomed. I would recommend this as it is inexpensive and does the job."

"This is the second lily purchase I have made from Red Envelope that went through ProFlowers. Both times when I received the lilies, there were at least 3 bud tips damaged when I received them. The lilies appear to have shifted in the boxes during shipping or were forced into the boxes causing the tips of some of the buds to be crushed. Other than that, the flowers lasted for 1 1/2 - 2 weeks and all of the buds opened. Delivery was on time and both times my wife was happy with her gift when the blooms opened!"

"I send the flowers to my sis-in-law and the flowers she got were dead. But after a phone call to the customer service she got fresh flowers. Sure it would have been nice to have the fresh flower the first time, but over all I am happy with my purchase."

"I send the Lilies for Mom for each secretary/assistant in my lawfirm for Administrative Professional Day. The lilies arrived as closed buds, but wihin a day began to open before your eyes They varied in color from white, to light pink, to deep pink, even to a lavendar color. All of the women in the office were happy to receive them. They are a week old and not all of the buds are completely open. They last a long time. I highly recommend them (for anyone who is not scent sensitive -- as they have a great,but strong aroma!)"

"The flowers were described as having three large blooms per stem minimum. Mine had 2 blooms per stem. so 8 blooms instead of 12 to 16 as described, and therefore very poor value. I wont be using Pro flowers again."

"I would not recommend this product. The person who received the flowers described them as buds. She was able to make out what type of flower it was, however she said she had buds rather than flowers that had bloomed."

"I bought Oriental lilies at least 12 blooms) which were delivered last Friday. Today is Thursday and there are still four blooms that are in the process of opening. The rest are blooming beautifully. I also like that the vase is not included automatically. My pet peeve with flower shops and other flower deliveries is that even if you don't get the vase, the price is the same."
