"My sis-in-law had picked this out and I got it for her as a Christmas present. It came exactly when emails told me it would, but I was embarrassed when she opened it! She took it out of the packaging and some of the finish seemed rubbed off the top, revealing it was made of some sort of resin or plastic. I gave her the info to exchange it, but have no idea if she will go to the trouble. Guess I shouldn't have trusted the jewelry catch all would be in acceptable condition. :-/"

"The jewelry catchall made a nice gift and even though it's not finely finished, it has an OK appearance. The recipient liked it. But at less than 6" tall and 5" across and made from brass with a nickel finish (no precious metals) I felt that it was overpriced. It's an import from an emerging and developing country and I'm guessing that it was purchased in volume for a few dollars a copy. After adding wrapping and shipping, it wasn't a good deal in my opinion, and that's why I wouldn't recommend it."

Classy way to de-clutter I bought this item for my wife to place on her make-up vanity. I noticed that at night she used to take off her rings and watch and just thread the rings onto the watch bracelet then she would place her items on a hand mirror on her vanity. She was really happy with the catchall and uses it every night. She likes having a specific place to keep her daily wear jewelry so she doesn't have to hunt for it.
