"My mom and I haven't always had the closest relationship, but over the years, we have become very close. Giving her this necklace on Christmas morning meant so much more than just a pendant on a chain. It's a bonus that it IS a lovely pendant, and the size of the font was perfect. (No need to be blaring). She is elderly, so I did get a longer chain to go with it so she could just slip it over her head, and I wear the shorter chain. Perfect!"

Love the idea, not the product November 27, 2012
"I love this idea and what it says. The only problem is the writing is so tiny I have to put my glasses on to see it which means my mother will hardly be able to read it or anyone else for that matter looking at it when she wears it. I don't understand why such a pretty necklace with a great sentiment is written so tiny. I really wouldn't recommend it unless you just love what it says and don't care if you can see it."

"my daughter also gave me this necklace as a gift, but it too tarnished within a week of having it. i contacted red envelope and explained the situation and they were wonderful. they immediately sent me out another necklace. i didn't need to return the tarnished one so i am assuming that they knew there were problems with tarnishing of this necklace. what is sad is the second necklace tarnished, too, and i have not been able to find ANY silver cleaner that will remove the brown/black on the charm. this necklace is so very special to me and it breaks my heart that i am not able to wear it."

"I received this as a Mother's Day gift from my daughter. the sentiment is very nice and the quality is very good. I wore it several times when I first got it and then forgot I had it. It is now four months later and I saw it today hanging with the rest of my necklaces. I decided to wear it and like it as much as I did when I first received it. I has been sitting out in the air for 4 months and it has not tarnished at all. Not sure what the other person's problem was with their comment about "being black". Would definitely recommend this for others."

"I would not suggest this necklace. I loved the saying engraved on it so got it for mom. She wore it the other day and I almost died. It had totally tarnished and looked like a black circle around her neck. I felt awful giving her such an awful piece of jewelry. If you cherish the person you are buying this for.......don't buy it."

Beautiful Gift For Your Mother I bought this gift for my mother for her birthday. She absolutely loves it! I wanted to get her this necklace for Christmas, but after reading the reviews was hesitant and decided not to purchase it. As her birthday approached, I was again drawn to this necklace. I read the reviews again and decided to see for myself. I'M GLAD I DID!! The chain is so pretty and the perfect length - not as others have said that it is cheap or too short. The pendant is beautiful and shiny-new - no scratches or other blemishes on it. I'm so happy that I decided to see for myself. And my mom is happy, too!
