As advertised, they were heavyweight with an elegant polished-nickel finish. I was briefly concerned about other reviews stating that they did not twist easily and were imbalanced. Twisted Candlesticks I gave this as an anniversary gift. The beautiful Twisted Candlesticks, with the accompanying story, were really liked and appreciated and put on display in their home.
