"unfortunately, they look really worn and cheap. Although I think the watch movement idea is cool and interesting, they just don't look very good in person. The old reviews are stellar... back when the movements were actually supposed to work. Now they are sold as "non working movements"-no big deal- but I'm thinking maybe they are depleting their stock of cuff links returned prior due to the movement being broken. Maybe I just got a pair that has already been returned a few times? Five stars for the idea and R.E. great customer service during the return- two stars for the product itself."

"My husband sells high end watches for a living, so I decided to get these for him to wear daily. His birthday came around, and when he opened them, he loved them. Ofcourse, the first thing he did was move the crown, and the movements did not work. I got them replaced 2 times, and now I'm sending back ALL 3. I really wanted them to work, because the look is nice, but if the movements don't work, what's the point. They would have been a wonderful conversation piece and would have been perfect for his daily suit/tie getup. Work on the movements, and they will be awesome. Customer service has been amazing, but the product just couldn't deliver. :("

"I purchased these cuff Links for a friend for his 40th birthday. They were kind of pricey but since it was a big birthday I thought I would spend a little more. When they arrived to my house they didn’t move. I read the disclaimer about not guaranteeing that they move but they are called Watch Movement Cuff Links and none of the reviews I read had any problems with the movement. I have always been super impressed with everything I buy here but this one really was disappointing and they are being returned to get my money back."

I will be returning these for another pair as they are unique and different from any of the other cuff links that my husband already owns. "I bought this for my husband, who has a nice collection of watches and cuff links, so seemed a perfect combination. The one suggestion I would make is to offer both cuff links have working parts. Even if that choice cost more. It seems most watch collectors and cuff link wearers tend to be particular people. When one has working parts and the other doesn't, it throws their sense of order "off." Having said that, my husband is pleased that he has something this unique to add to his collection."
