"As the other reviewers have said, this jewelry box is huge (more than twice the size of my Reed & Barton). It's quite heavy (the shipping box weighed over 28 pounds!) but was packaged so securely it arrived in pristine condition.
I had a tough time determining the exact composition of the drawers based on the photos so I took a chance and am very pleased with the layout but thought I would give you a rundown of the composition of the drawers for those who are trying to assess whether it will meet their needs:
Top: this is easy to see in the pictures. The secret mirror pop-out for the necklaces was better than I expected. There are 24 loops that individually snap closed to secure each necklace with a large pocket below to catch the extra length. The entire inside space is lined in suede.
Top row of drawers:
Left - 18 small compartments (great for earrings)
Middle - open space (no dividers)
Right - 3 compartments, one 1/2 size compartment and two 1/4 size compartments
Single drawer - row 2:
Divided into 6 equal sections. 3 are open (no dividers), 1 is outfitted entirely for rings (8 rows for rings), and 2 are divided into quarters
Single drawer - row 3:
Divided into 3 equal sections. 2 are open (no dividers) and the middle one is divided into thirds the long way (great for wide bracelets or watches that lie flat)
Bottom 5 drawers - rows 4 & 5:
Top left - outfitted entirely for rings (17 rows)
Bottom left - open (no dividers)
Middle - divided in half, almost making 2 squares with double height
Top right - open (no dividers) with travel case inserted which has 1/4 devoted to rings, 1/4 open with a cover, 1/4 open without a cover and two 1/8 size compartments without a cover
Bottom right - open (no dividers)
I hope this helps anyone who is on the fence. If you are debating between this one and the smaller version there is no comparison, this is significantly better but you will need quite a bit of space for this box so the smaller version may be more practical for some people."
