"I would recommend this watch so long as you know what you are getting. I was so excited to receive this watch. I knew it was going to be something different, and I was in love with the two tone coloring. When I got it in the mail, I was so sad! The two tone looks nothing like the photo. My husband even commented he thought I selected the wrong color, but I didn't. In the picture it looks like a dark and light contrast. In reality, the contrast is not substantial at all. The face and middle of band is not dark colored. At best it is a medium shade. It is also very lightweight, almost crossing into cheap-land... It is still unique, and I've had mine for about a month now. Still in the box, trying to decide whether I will wear it or if best to return it."

"This is truly a one of a kind watch. I thought it was quite clever and my husband loves one of a kind gifts. On this one however, he wasn't in love. He felt it was too light weight making it feel less quality and though I remind wood IS very lightweight, this will sadly go back. The craftsmanship is flawless with the wood smoothly finished and oiled. There is a stainless clasp with plenty of links such that we would have had to remove a few for him. The watch comes with a battery disengaged and ready for you to set. The pachage in tiny and could be done better. So I felt I chose well, but it will go back as it did not please him."

"I was looking for something memorable to give my husband for his first Christmas as a dad and I stumbled across this. After originally ordering the brown watch, I returned it and got the two tone. The two tone is so sharp looking and so different. People regularly make comments about how good looking and different it is. The husband loves it and he was able to easily remove links at home to properly fit it to his wrist. The lightweight feel of it is a bonus and a strange, nice counterpoint to its chunky and substantial look."

"I've worn the watch once and pretty much everyone has noticed and commented on it's uniqueness. Very light and not bulky on the wrist, although I am a little more careful with this peice as opposed to my various G-Shocks. One thing that was a little tricky was removing links, but there was a helpful video on the WeWood website, and after taking out one link others are pretty easy. I purchased the beige wood, and am considering coming back for the redwood or two-tone as well. Great timepeice and fashion accessory!"

"My husband's hobby is carpentry. He loves unique, beautiful, rich-colored and grained woods. He is very difficult to buy jewelry for, but he absolutely loves this watch. Other raters complained about it not being sturdy. No, it's not a sport watch. If you get this watch, wear it as a piece of jewelry for refined/special occasions. The clasp is difficult to do by yourself, but not impossible. He gets compliments and comments on the watch all the time. He's had this now for nearly two months (given on Father's day, but I had it a month before that) and it is still working just fine. I hope this review helps others in their decision to purchase. It's a great gift for a special guy in your life."

"let me preface this by saying that I am in no way very stylish, and my boyfriend has the upper hand on looking put together. When Valentines day came around I wanted to take a step away from the cross stitched/QR code/website/geek/craft gifts I'm comfortable producing/giving and give him something that he'd love to wear and show off. I had no idea where to start, or what to buy, but then I stumbled across this watch and thought it was really interesting and unique. To my preference, the watch itself just a tad bulky. But looks fine once worn. "I was rather disappointed when I received this watch. I realize the design in quite simple, but it looks of better quality in the picture online. Also, the packaging made it look bubblegum machine cheap. I wasn't expecting a high end case or anything, but the flimsy cardboard box covered in saran wrap really turned me off. Since this was meant as a gift, given the poor quality/appearance, I returned it. If you're really into watches, or thinking of getting it for someone that is....save your money. If you just want a new watch to add to your jewelry wardrobe, then go for it. A bit large for a ladies wrist, but would look okay with jeans and a tee. Oh, the insert also makes it sound as if the band is pretty delicate due to the natural wood; even says to keep away from fire. Something else to add to list of cons if you're rough on watches, or plan on playing with matches."
