While owning your own vineyard may be out of reach, a glass of Pinot is not. One pour out of our personalized wine cask will conjure up images of Napa’s golden hills and sprawling vineyards. Both white and red will find a home inside the wood cask with your name on it. Made of American white oak in the USA.
  • constructed of American white oak with reinforced steel hoops
  • built using oak staves, just like full-sized model
  • just like their full-size counterparts, this cask may need to be cured to prevent leaking, instructions included sits on an oak stand (included)
  • comes with custom graphic and may be personalized with name or nickname, city, state and year
  • holds approximately 5 liters (equal to about 20 cups)
  • measures 9.5”x 6.5”x 6.5”
  • made in USA
  • care instructions:
    • The barrels are ready to age wine, no curing necessary unless they sit for a month or 2. If sold within a month, simply a rinse of cold water 3x will do. If they sit for over 2 months, then we recommend curing which is as follows.
    • Curing your barrel: First, rinse the inside of the barrel by filling and emptying 2 or 3 times to remove any wood debris. Prior to use, your barrel must be filled with water or submerged for approximately 3 to 7 days. This will allow the oak to expand and retain liquid (the barrel may leak until cured). After this initial curing period, place the barrel on the stand/holder in a dry area. Liquid will continue to slowly drain through the oak wood for the following 3 to 7 days. Keep the barrel filled during this time. When the barrel stops draining, empty the contents and rinse again. You are now ready to fill with your wine or spirits or beer

"Smaller than I thought it would be and personalization is not dark enough. Made well but had burn ash residue inside cask that still trying to get out. Giving as a gift which they will probably put on display and not actually use so not a big deal to me. If you plan on filling it, not sure how to make sure all residue is gone."

"I previously purchased the wine barrel top that matches this and they look great together. Of course they come very bland...they are not finished and need to be finished in my opinion. I painted the grapes and leaves and stained the wood. It now looks very rich and personal."

"I am sorry to say, but I am very disappointed in the product I received. The cask itself is very nice, but the "engraving" was terrible. I can barely see our last name on cask and I can't read the town and state at all. It was going to be a gift, but I cant bring myself to hand it over to the person it was intended for. I suppose I am stuck with it now."
