"Gorgeous!!! Received as a birthday gift and I absolutely love this necklace! The chain is extremely elegant. Its dainty design is a beautiful juxtaposition to the contrast of the hefty pendant. NOTE ON PERSONALIZATION: It is subtle. Goes from stark contrast, to near invisible, depending on how it catches the light. However, to me, this is an additional benefit, and only increases how much I adore, cherish and value this treasure. I also received the round mother of pearl drop earrings, and the personalization on the necklace is in script, as opposed to the block font of the earrings. A difference that does not bother me immensely, but should be noted."

Make Sure You're Aware About Personalization March 09, 2013
"Yes, I would "recommend this product to a friend." But I wouldn't recommend it be personalized. Normally, a personalized inscription is done on a metal surface. With this necklace, they inscribe the mother-of-pearl stone itself! Not only is that unusual, but one can argue it ruins the stone surface. And not only that, but because it's inscribed on a pale stone surface, you can hardly see the inscription! RedEnvelope doesn't accept returns or exchanges for personalized items, which is reasonable. But I'm hoping they make an exception in my case because the item description did not explain that it would be personalized in such an unusual way."
