"I love the look of this platter with the colors of the font/image, font style and personalization. I believe the recipient also loved the personal gift (it was a bridal shower present). The only downside (as mentioned by the previous review) is that it can't be used for food items, which makes it somewhat limiting in its uses. However, I think it still makes a wonderful personal gift that will be adorable in their new home together. Nicely packaged, shipped quickly. No complaints!"

"I purchased two of these platters for cycling couples who married this spring. Both loved the design and personalization of the platter. However, it wasn't until after the gifts were received that I realized they are not for use with food. I did go back and see the use of the word "decorative" in the main description, and if you click the link for the full description it does include that detail. I just wish it had been a bit more obvious. I'm sure our friends will find something to do with the tray, but I had imagined it being used for serving rather than just decoration."
