"This is my first purchase from Redenvelope. The necklace is beautiful and exactly what I have expected. I didn't order gift wrap but it came with a red box which is beautiful enough to send as a gift with the necklace. The price is so right that I am thinking to get one for myself. I did pay extra for urgent shipping but because of the recent Boston incident, it didn't arrive on time and I missed the occasion to give it to my friend. I think I could not blame UPS nor Redenvelope."

Cherishable concept -Disappointing product April 16, 2013
"I love the concept. My birthstone is a pearl and the necklace has my initial engraved and on the back is our anniversary date. The light bright silver is also a beautiful shade. However the quality is extremely disappointing. I got this product at an extreme discount and I still regret the purchase – I paid half of what they were asking and it was still more than double what it was worth. I expected an heirloom for the price they were charging and instead the clasp will be lucky to last six months – it barely works as it is. The adjustable portion of the chain doesn’t even have markers for where it would be centered and it is quite difficult to utilize with the flimsy clasp. At the very least you should order it WITHOUT engraving to determine if it is worth keeping and have someone else engrave it for you. VERY disappointed."

"While I like the design and length of the necklace, I was disappointed in the silver disk, it is much more flimsy and cheap looking than I expected, and the engraved initial is engraved so lightly that it looks cheap too. If the disk and engraving were nicer, I'd have better things to say. Luckily it was on sale, it certainly wouldn't be worth the original cost, in my opinion."
