Their steaks are a work of art so why shouldn’t they sign them? This welded-steel, Western-style brander arrives with a hanging barn-board holder branded with their initials. We're sorry, our red gift box is not available for this item.
  • measures 10 3/4" long
  • handmade in USA
  • may be monogrammed with two or three initials (no numbers or symbols)
  • please allow an additional 7 days for processing your order
  • Directions: Place the face of the brand in the hot coals or on an electric burner. Heat the brand at least 5 to 7 minutes. (or until red hot) Just before serving your meal, press the heated iron against the food with a side-to-side and top-to-bottom rocking motion. This keeps the brand from sticking to the meat which makes for a much cleaner brand

"My husbands name is BOB and loves his "Bob's Your Uncle" Tshirts. But this floored him. He couldn't wait to use his branding iron and tried to avoid grilling anything that was not big enough to "autograph". The grandchildren had to beg for hotdogs and chicken wings. Hamburgers were served open-faced and steaks were his specialty this holiday. The branding flourish was hilarious and everyone was required to observe the first five or so. He always gets a "toy" for Father's Day but this is one that won't be relegated to a shelf in a week. I expect it to make him happy for years to come. I thank whoever thought of this unique idea and Red Envelope for offering it."

"I haven't actually used this product yet, but it is a very original, unique gift and my husband loved it. "I was VERY dissappointed when I received this. I had ordered this same item for my father 2 years ago, and the size of the initials has been cut in half! It also was shipped without the wood stand, making the presentation very poor. I would not recommend this or Red Envelope to a friend."

"I purchased this as a father's day gift for my Dad. When I opened the package, there was a big sticker attached to the full length of the iron that was impossible to peel off. The Cedar plank was splintering and frayed. Additionally, there were no instructions on how to use the item (which would have really been helpful). All in all, I was embarrassed to give the gift to my Dad."

Thank you for posting a review. The product instructions were included on the sticker, which you noted was adhered to the branding iron. We have since added instructions to our site copy for customer reference and apologize they were not posted at the time you needed them. For future orders, the instruction sticker is no longer applied to the shaft of the brander, rather it is included as a separate document within the packaging.

Great gift! I purchased this brander for my husband who loves to barbecue as a gift when our second child was born (a boy to whom I hope the brander will eventually be passed down because they share the same monogram). It is very attractive, and my husband was so surprised!
