Very Disappointing June 29, 2013
"This item was very disappointing. It was very poorly constructed, arrived broken, and not nearly as cool a display piece as promised in catalog description."

Below my expectations June 25, 2013
"I bought this for my father for Father's Day. It looks much richer with higher finishes than when it arrived. It is very light weight. The lid doesn't close well. The compass seemed like one you would get in a Cracker Jack box. Needless to say I am returning this and bought one from somewhere else. I love Red Envelope. I rarely send anything back. Just disappointing."

Love this... June 18, 2013
"I purchased this compass as a graduation gift for a surgeon who has just completed his residency. I was very happy with the quality. Inside the lid of the box it comes in is a little blurb about the compass being a tool for exploration and learing about the world, which I think makes this even more fitting as a gift for a graduation. Overall very pleased. Would recommend and would purchase again. Found the price to be very reasonable."

Beautiful Piece of Work June 18, 2013
"If you have an avid fan of Lewis & Clark, a historical buff, or looking for something unique, this is a great gift. It is more for putting on a desk with the lid open to showcase it, but, it's a true compass, we tested it out .A beautiful piece of art/history."

He's Happy June 16, 2013
"Item was a gift for my son who's business uses GPS. I thought the original GPS as a gift, would be nice. He loved it. The compass is very well crafted and seems very authentic. As my son held the compass in his hand for the first time, I could just see him imagining Lewis and Clark navigating across the US with just this lone device."

Absoutely disappointed June 11, 2013
"I order this item, as a gift to myself. Upon opening the product fell apart, the glass fell out as well as the pointers. The item was apparently not package correctly, and or, the product itself is inferior."

Amazing Piece May 23, 2013
"I recieved this as a gift earlier in the month and I was absolutly blown away by the quality of this piece. I look at it and think of myself trying to make it across the country without my GPS. You gotta give Lewis and Clark credit for their ability to do it with a compass alone."
