Cheap Flashlight December 11, 2012
"I purchased this nice looking flashlight for my dad for Christmas. I got it out and realized it is made of some cheap aluminum? The leather is nice, but that is really the only quality part of the flashlight. The on and off switch seems flimsy and cheap, too. I put batteries in it, and I had to shake it to have the light come on. I attempted to reload the batteries multiple times, and now it does not work at all. I am usually satisfied with Red Envelope's quality, but this is made very cheaply and is very poor. Now I will have to return it and find something else."

"This product is made of a very light aluminum, so it's nearly weightless until you put the batteries in it. It's wrapped in a beautiful stitched leather. I found it to be a very interesting, unique gift. Due to its lightweight make, however, the recipient did not deem it something he would use, and shelved it as a conversation piece."

"This is a unique gift that is good for the quy who has everything as they are hard to find something "different" out there. Very stylish looking but we gave this out to some construction tradesman who felt they were a little lightweight and maybe not durable enough for the price. Lower price would make this better rated."

"Flashlight is nice enough, retro. However, the included bulb creates a dark spot where the beam is focused. The beam is not adjustable. I think I will look for a replacement bulb. It's a screw-in type."
