More than just play blocks! May 16, 2013
"I am a pediatrician and a grandparent. I am always on the lookout for meaningful and unique toys for my grandchildren. What originally was purchased for my grandson (age 2yrs) was given to my daughter-in-law as a Mother's Day gift. She was absolutely delighted! She is Japanese and is teaching our grandchildren her native language. The blocks will be a great aid. The workmanship and quality of these American-made blocks are excellent!"

Building Blocks Heaven. April 16, 2013
"I am a building blocks lover, and a new mum (and a French native). So this was an obvious choice. It is beautifully crafted, good size blocks, colors are pretty - it does make it look vintage. And it is made in the US. Having it with French words is definitely a plus to teach our little fellow French (his dad is American). The only thing that I think the manufacturer should fix is that some words do have a article (like "le serpent") but other images do not include the article. It would be nice to have some consistency there."

Wonderful purchase March 14, 2013
"We bought these blocks in French for our son's 1st birthday. First, the package is simple but very nice. Second, the blocks are beautiful. Our son loves them. He knew that I was counting to 5 within the first 10 minutes of opening them. We're so excited to teach him french while he's so young. He also loves to build towers and knock them down. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!"

Encourage polyglotism! January 31, 2013
"Great quality overall. Makes a great gift. Japanese blocks: Sides with plain text have all hiragana with katakana, with dakuten (ten-ten) and/or with handakuten (maru), and with pronunciation in roman characters. Sides with color (blue/yellow, red/green) have a single hiragana character. Sides with a picture of an animal have english and japanese. Includes kanji numbers 1-10 with roman numerals, hiragana and english spelling. 19 of the 46 hiragana characters are repeated throughout the blocks. All blocks make up a picture of Japan."

High Quality & Gorgeous August 14, 2012
"I bought the Japanese set for my infant daughter, so she doesn't use it just yet. But I've taken them out to put the puzzle together, make sure each hiragana character is represented at least once, and to look at some of the images and words. The blocks are beautiful and I'm sure my daughter will enjoy playing with these one day! A cool twist on old-school wooden blocks."
