"I hesitated to purchase these measuring cups because I thought it was too extravagant (cost-wise) for a set of measuring cups. But when I saw them I decided that I NEEDED them (or something like them). I did a quick search for comparable items online but these ones were prettier than any other I found. So I ordered them, and when they arrived I fell in love with them all over again.
Don't think of these cups as mere kitchen tools. They're beautiful! I store them on the window sill in my kitchen, and they also look great left on the counter - definitely not the sort of thing you tuck away in a cabinet or drawer. Think of these cups as functional pieces of art, like a vintage chair or mosaic tabletop.
Buy this for yourself, and then buy an extra one to give as a gift - kitchen junkies would appreciate it, and gifting it to just about anyone else might just inspire them to do a little baking for a change."
