"I have had several Para-Sol products, the company who makes this particular nectar feeder, over many years but this was the worst, one star, because: 1- It is relatively expensive 2- The design is extremely poor. With a tiny breeze, the slight rocking motion causes the contents to drip out until it is empty. 3- There is no landing/resting bar for the hummers even if they chose to try to drink from this. At this price no matter how beautiful the glass might be, the feeder is a failure for any serious birder."

"This will be good maybe for someone who has shady areas. The glass gets too hot to attract the hummingbirds in the sun. Daughter loved it. It is beautiful. If you will want it in a sunny area, you may not want to purchase it."

"I was given this beautiful feeder as a gift and both the original and the replacement had dented bottoms. I believe the soft metal and lack of correct packing, not having padded the bottom as it rests against glass loop are the problem. Plus the design, having the holes for the birds to feed are not out far enough from bottle, so the hummers tend to use other feeders. It is lovely to look at but not useful. But, all that said it is lovely to look at."

lovely item for hummingbird aficionados I purchased this as a gift for my parents, who love hummingbirds. They already had a feeder, but it was plastic and cheap-looking. When they opened their gift, they were delighted! The artisan glass and etched design are beautiful. It now hangs in their garden and I'm thinking about purchasing another color to go along with the aqua one. Very happy with this gifted purchase!
