"I got this necklace as a Christmas present from my husband and daughter, which she is only 4 months old. My husband was looking for something that represented my daughter and when he saw this,he knew this would perfect, and he was right. I do feel that the necklace should have the option of adjusting the length so you can adjust it depending on the outfit you are wearing. Besides that I luv the necklace it what it represents."

"This necklace is good quality. The birthstone colors are bright and clear and positioned very well on the necklace bar. A concern is that the 18 inch chain is too long. This style lends itself to lay higher on the neckline and my daughter has to take it to a jeweler for adjustment which can get costly. Certainly not my intent for a gift. Otherwise she was very excited with the merchandise."

"Wanted this necklace for my daughter when she gives birth to my grandson. The chain is flimsy and there is just too much silver for the teeny tiny garnet in the necklace. It is going back immediatedly."

"This is pretty (I agree with a previous reviewer that the stones are small, but I like the look anyway). But the chain should be shorter. With the bar style of this necklace, it would work better as slightly bigger than choker-length (such that the bar lay across one's collarbone). But with such a long chain, the bar hangs much lower on the chest, and the effect is not as nice. I keep hitching it up. Description says the chain can be variable length, but there is not much variation (shortest is maybe 18"). I will keep this and get the chain shortened, but would have preferred that it came with a shorter chain to begin with."
