"I purchased this cake plate for Mother's Day and I am extremely disappointed in the engraving. At first I thought they forgot to engrave the cake stand. After looking it over again I was able to find the inscription, but you can barely see it. After seeing it in person, I find the picture online to be misleading. The letters seem to have been darkened for the photo online. I have ordered numerous gifts from Red Envelope and this is the first one I have been disappointed in."

"I bought this for my wife who loves to bake and she loved it. It's a solid base for displaying tasty treats and the inscription is just noticeable enough to not make the stand look tacky. I wouldn't know a cake stand from an elevated plate, but it made a very successful birthday present."

"Stand was very good quality and script was well etched. I used this item to put new cookies on display in my bakery and customers awed the stand near as much as they did the fresh baked goodies! The only thing I would like see to upgrade the product would be for it to rotate! Then designs on my baked products could be seen from every angle without having to pick the stand up and risk someone breaking it!!!"

"The cake stand is not level.. It slopes away from the front!! And to the left, as well!! I am not OCD or super picky. The moment we unpacked it, we both noticed it and said "oh no" at once! Whoever packed the product should have definitely seen it. ~~ALSO the block lettering has been "darkened?" in the catalogue to show up!! I thought the letters were black. The letters are the same as the ceramics color and don't show up at all!! I paid this amount for a "personalized cake stand" for my daughter and WE COULDN'T FIND THE PERSONALIZATION!!"

"I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT THE PURCHASE OF THE CAKE STAND WITH PERSONAL IMPRINT. WHEN I RECEIVED IT, YOU DON'T EVEN NOTICE THE PERSONALIZATION I HAD RED ENVELOPE PUT ON IT. I ACTUALLY HAD TO PUT A PIECE OF PAPER ON TOP OF THE CAKE STAND WITH AN ARROW POINTING TO WHERE THE PERSONALIZATION WAS. I WILL SAY, THIS IS THE FIRST ITEM I HAVE ORDERED FROM RED ENVELOPE AND NOT BEEN EXTREMELY SATISFIED. OVERALL I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. JUST DISAPPOINTED IN RED ENVELOPE OVER THIS ONE."
