"Don't get me wrong- this made for a great wedding gift, but the paint line around the decanter wasn't as crisp looking as in the photos and it is much smaller than you might expect. The engraving was nicely done, and the couple liked the gift quite a bit."

"I bought this as a gift for my little brother - who enjoys finer libations. I was really hoping it wouldn't be too "cheesy looking" and thankfully it wasn't. Based off of looks alone - its actually quite nice. I do not know if it does actually make your distilled beverages more tasty. It took a while to arrive - but since you get to pick out the words and type/setting - I can see why. The craftmenship was great."

Engraving disappointing January 02, 2013
"The item itself is a great idea and my boyfriend was very happy to receive it as a gift. However, my picky eye-for-detail was disappointed with the engraving. In some places the engraving was etched in deeper than other places, which made the coloring inconsistent. Also, it appeared that the engraving was crooked. I don't know if a template is used during the engraving process and that the stencil was placed on the decanter off-skew or what. Had the engraving been done a little more meticulously, then I would be completely satisfied with the product."

"This was the first time I've ever ordered from Red Envelope. What a major disappointment when I got the decanter for a xmas gift. The personalization was crooked and the paint job was horrible. I couldn't even order the same product to replace this one and had to choose a completely different design and color, this whole thing was such a disappointment.Think this will be the first and last time for me ordering here."

Small, & Poor Printing December 30, 2012
"First, the product was really small. I guess that is part my fault for not looking at the size better. The pictures are very deceiving though. Also the printing in the canister was not centered. The item was a Christmas present so I had to give it anyway. The item also showed up three days later than the deliver by date. Good thing we ordered early. VERY UNHAPPY!"
