Disappointed December 29, 2012
"The scarf was purchased as a Christmas gift for my sister. I placed my order on 12/3 and did not receive it until 12/27! That was my first disappointment! I paid for the scarf to be gift boxed.......when I did receive it, the gift box that it was placed in and wrapped, was 3 times larger than the box the scarf came in. That was my second disappointment! I also paid to have the scarf monogrammed with her initial, and the monogram was so much smaller than I expected it to be considering the size of the scarf....again, DISAPPOINTED!!!! I have ordered from Red Envelope in the past and have never encountered anything like this before....not sure what the issue was this time, but because I had so many problems with this order, and the fact that I placed my order on 12/3 and did not receive it until 24 days AFTER order was placed, this will be my last order with Red Envelope!!!"

My wife loves this scarf! January 12, 2012
"I purchased this scarf in gray as a Christmas gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. My wife is a mid-30's professional who tends to stay up-to-date on fashion trends and she wears this all the time. The length of the scarf allows her to wear it in different ways depending on how cold she is and the gray is a good color that seems to go with the rest of her attire. I had it monogrammed and depending on where she is going she will decide is she wants people to see it (I think she feels goofy sometimes having her initial on it so I may reconsider that as an option if the person you are buying it for is fairly modest). Cashmere is such a soft material that it feels great for her to wear it the entire day if she wants. I didn't compare the cost of this scarf to other comparable stores, but it seems a little expensive (which is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5). The material is great and so far it is holding up so I may need to come back and change my rating to a 5 if it holds up through the winter. Overall - this is a very nice gift for a man or woman who enjoys a nice compliment to their existing wardrobe. I may consider buying these as gifts for co-workers or other family members as it is really quite nice!"

"I was really stumped on what to get my wife for Christmas. With the economy the way it is we both set strict limits on what we would be buying each other this year. I wanted to get her something nice, but also practical. You can't go wrong with cashmere. The scarf is also monogrammed. As usual the gift box and packaging were top notch style which Red Envelope is famous for. We are both very pleased."

"I purchased this scarf for my daughter for Christmas. I had it personalized with her initial; it looks great. My daughter has to work on Christmas, she's a doctor, so I won't be able to give it to her on Christmas. However, she will be home for New Year's Eve so she will get it then, as she doesn't want me to ship her gifts to her."

"The scarf was a nice gift for a friend who is difficult to buy for. I liked the material and the monogramming is a nice touch; however I believe the image showed a block style initial and mine arrived in cursive. I don't recall there being a place where I could have changed that selection."
