PART OF IT WAS REAL SILVER THE PENDANT, SO I LIKED THAT. THE PENDANT WAS TARNISHED ON ONE END OF IT . IT WAS WAY SMALLER THAN I THOUGHT . FOR THE PRICE I FEEL IT IS NOT AS NICE AS CAN BE . CHAIN IS NOT REAL SILVER . STILL A CUTE THING. I GOT THE X SO IT BALANCED BETTER THAN A SINGLE LETTER AND LOOKS LIKE A KISS SIGN ."

The worst Christmas gift I ever gave January 21, 2010
"I was very pleased with all my Christmas purchases online except for the one from Red Envelope. The necklace I ordered was a great disappointment! I was very unhappy with the size of the charm and the tiny specs of diamonds in the setting. The clasp is very hard to open even when someone else is trying to help put it on. The chain is very thin which causes it to tangle very easily. It was a poor purchase on my part because I didn't read the description. If I could recall, there wasn't a description. I only remember a picture of a cute initial necklace that I thought would make the prefect Christmas gift for my 16 yr. old daughter. I paid to have it gifted wrapped and I must say they did a beautiful job! It even had a pretty red cloth ribbon tied on the outside of the box. Although I hesitated not to open the beautifully wrapped box, I'm so glad I took the time to carefully peek to see what it looked like ahead of time. I was so disappointed I seriously thought about sending it back. Instead I tucked some money inside the box along with the necklace to make up for the cheap looking necklace. I'm sorry to say even though your website "showcase" your products quite nicely, I don't think I will order from your company again."

"This originally shipped to my home address as I was going to give for a gift for Christmas. Unfortunately, only the chain was enclosed in the box; the "I" initial was missing. I called customer service and they were so helpful and gracious. They reshipped the necklace and even shipped to the recipient of the gift since it was going to be arriving late. My cousin loved the necklace and though I haven't seen the actual product yet, I was very happy with the way they handled the error. I will definitely buy from Red Envelope again."
