"We first got Shari's berries a few years ago and loved them. This year, we have had 3 different occasions (2 times that we ordered and once that a family member ordered) where the quality has been really poor. About half the berries had "turned" and were mushy and sour tasting. I don't know that the chocolate has changed, but it definitely tastes waxier to me. I am so disappointed and will not order from this company again. The quality has really changed recently. We ordered these and a half dozen baby girl pink berries for a baby shower."

Seriously Disappointed June 13, 2013
"I have always wanted to try these berries, as I love chocolate covered strawberries and had heard good things about Shari's. My package was delivered on time but when I opened the box, the ice pack was completely thawed and warm. I immediately put the box in the refrigerator so the berries and chocolate would be cold when we opened them after my birthday dinner. What a disappointment. I opened the box and at least 4 of the berries were not in their tray, 2 had the chocolate cracked off, all of the ones we tried still had stems but you couldn't tell because the whole thing was covered in chocolate (unlike the picture), the berries tasted like they had been frozen and then thawed (chewy and tasteless) and the chocolate wasn't that great tasting either. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering again."

"I ordered this for my sister's birthday. She lives in CA, i'm in CO. I had no idea where they would ship from but luckily they shipped from CA so it took 1 day for delivery. Since it's Spring she said the berries were ripe and chocolate was delish. I read some other reviews and a lot of people ordered in winter. Strawberries are always growing somewhere in winter but not close."

"For Mother's Day, I ordered two of the "Full Dozen Gourmet Dipped Swizzled Berries" for my Aunt and another for my Mom. They were shipped well in the shipping box, but once we opened the actual box with the chocolate dipped strawberries, it was just a mess. They were tossed around in the box. The strawberries did not look at all as pictured. They were very small berries mixed with a few larger. There were couple that were broken chocolate. I will never order from this site again. I am embarrased I shipped these to my Aunt. The picture shows how it looks exactly as it was when we opened the box."

Dissolved Berries but Great Customer Service!? May 17, 2013
"Ok well these were on the tuck for 13 hours according to tracking and when they arrived the chocolate had split so berries had fermented and box puffed up. The frozen bag compress had split and soaked the box. Poor thing looked like it was a war survivor. My personal message was messed up as well. Very poor. Perhaps they need to re-think the delivery time. BUT great customer service I got a quick refund but still very disappointing!"

Wonderful Mother's Day Present!! I was surprised yesterday with a dozen of these superlicious gems! Berries taste sweet and flavorful and the chocolate is great...just like my sweet daughter and son-in-law!
