"It is very evident that this is not a bonsai. It has been grown for a short period of time and trimmed to look like a bonsai, potted just before shipping. I am ready to pay for a genuine product. Great Starter Bonsai September 24, 2012
"My friend recently has gotten into bonsai care and has started a collection. It seemed like a pleasingly relaxing pastime, so I ordered this tree for myself (not knowing of any suitable nurseries nearby). My particular tree is smaller than the range listed, coming in at around 4 inches, but that just means it has more room to grow. Other than that slight size discrepancy (and not being quite as well-trimmed, allowing you to do that yourself, as it should), it is exactly as pictured. It made its way to me unharmed, complete with explicit care instructions and the shears I ordered, which are super sharp right out of the package. Now I just have to get my hands on some wire, and I can really start cultivating my first bonsai tree!"

"For the money, I was pleasantly surprised! I didn't expect the bonsai to be as beautiful and seasoned as it was. It's sage green colour reflects a soft light--amazing! I purchased the tray and stones as well which really helps with humidity. The directions are simple and easy to follow. I have no complaints and would certainly recommend the plant to bonsai fanciers."

"I purchased the bonsai tree for my bf who honestly has everything and is very hard to purchase for. The tree is a bit smaller than I expected.. but then again I didn't expect a big tree like shown in the movie The Karate Kid. He is enjoying it's beauty and thinks of me whenever he sees it.. so I guess the tree is doing what I wanted it to do. =)"
