Our indoor Gardenia Bonsai makes a beautiful addition to any sunny room. These bonsai will flower intermittently throughout the year, perfuming your home with the gardenia's legendary fragrance. Gift arrives in a glazed ceramic bonsai pot (colors may vary) and stands about 8-9 inches overall. For optimal humidity, a bonsai humidity tray may be added. Bonsai will not bloom year-round; bonsai may arrive in a non-blooming stage September to April. Care instructions are included.

"I thought that a spring purchase would bring me fragrant gardenia flowers on my bonsai plant. However, on arrival on mother's day, not even buds. I am taking care of this plant as specified and am anxiously waiting for the fragrant gardenias. Nothing yet."

This is a cutting not a bonsai May 22, 2013
"I was not expecting perfection due to the other reviews, but I had bought this once for my mom and remembered that it was beautiful and smelled great. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that the plant was covered in buds, with just a few beginning to open and one or two already open. Yay! Perfect timing. I ordered it on May 15th or so. The flowers have a strong and heady perfume that fills the room, and only a few of them are open! Good thing I like the way they smell. The next thing I noticed was that it had no bonsai shape and seemed to be a branch planted into a pot. Oh, well. It means I'll get to do the bonsai shaping myself, which could be nice. As I look at it, I suppose it sort of has a shape - it resembles a fruit tree, sort of. Not very exiting - very upright. Anyway, I'm still glad I bought this. I feel like I can turn it into a really beautiful flowering bonsai."

Pretty, but not so sure about it... May 09, 2013
"I bought this for my mother for Mother's Day. I picked it because it said it was an INDOOR bonsai on the website. However, when I received it today it had OUTDOOR care instructions and the label on the plant said OUTDOOR. I'm a little confused and not sure how to tell her to care for it. I also really wanted her to have an INDOOR bonsai tree. I'll see how it goes and try to find instructions for inside care online. Pretty tree though."

"I received my bonsai and it was a little scraggly. It was green without any blooms (not in season so I didn't expect any). It looked more or less healthy, but it was not as beautiful and bushy as the photo advertises. Nor did I really like the way the tree was cut. I was disappointed, but maybe I can nurse it into a full bonsai that I expected."

Great gift - long lasting November 18, 2010
"I purchased this for my mother last year and she loved it. My father tended to it and it stayed small and alive until I a neighbor was asked to 'plant sit', and put it outside and did not water it. Hence, off to plant heaven it went. For most of its life, it was kept inside then outside for a while (Florida) and it still produced blooms and was lovely. I am ordering another one as a Christmas gift and hope it does as well."

"received for mother's day, not very good instructions on how this is maintained. The plant is now dying from bad instructions, hopefully will be able to safe it before my son sees it after coming home from Afghanistan, which is where he order from."
